Contract Termination By Fraud
A contract can be terminated by what is referred to as "fraud in the inducement." Fraud in the inducement occurs where a party intentionally misleads the other party into entering the contract. For example, a party lies about the subject of the contract and the other party relies upon the statement and agrees to the contract. This misleading action can terminate the contract.

I think in order to create new cutting edge products every company has to violate some patents of others (due to stupidity of the patent system they companies can patent almost everything). The origins of the patent system were a good idea to protect really new innovations but it got abused by too many companies and people who approve probably cant distinguish new original ideas from common sense ideas. That makes it hard for companies to enforce their original ideas since they can get counter suit with trivial patents (I'm not saying this is the case here - but that is the general problem).
Apple probably knew they are getting sued in return and took that into account by weighing the severity of violations (in their point of view). Probably it will end in out of court settlement - so I'm not sure what it is good for except making everyone aware that companies borrow ideas from each other ...

An apparatus and method for calculating and displaying local time for a plurality of cities in the world. The apparatus includes a memory for storing Greenwich mean time (GMT) information for each of the plurality of cities. The apparatus calculates a local time of a city selected by a user, which is based on a difference between the GMT of the selected city and the GMT of a present location of the apparatus, the reference time and the counted elapsed time. LOL it amazes me how little you guys know about the law. Please report me to the authorities, there is absolutely nothing they can do legally. I even discussed it with my professor who monitored my bar and he got a kick out of it as well haha.

i've got to agree with others and say unless you were desperate it would be silly at this point to want a CDMA iP4.
With the next revision so close, the benefit of waiting could be immense and I be a lot of other people see that too.

Either everybody is getting 64 megabytes, or this is going to be more of a cloud locker for previous iTunes purchases (where the files are exactly the same for each user and don't have to be duplicated).

You went back to school and you didn't learn how to bill or control a client? Your very first mistake was booking a $75 job with a 3 hour time limit. If that is all someone can afford, then don't work for them. In my experience, the cheaper they are, the more demanding they usually are. Your second mistake was giving the power to your client and not billing him for phone time. You didn't manage the job and you paid the price. I bet you didn't even have a signed contract. :eek:

Pricing, I cannot repeat this enough charge how you think you should be paid. 3 hours for a web site mock-up for $75 wouldn't get me out of bed, your undercutting yourself and making yourself marketable to the low ballers.
Whatever your charging divide by 4, as a freelance that is your REAL hourly wages. So if you're charging $25 per hour you're real hourly wage is $6.25, workers are Burger King earn more.
Charging more will bracket yourself to a better class of client IMHO.

I have been very rude about phones on previous posts, but I also said (check those posts!) that if it integrated a touch-screen vPod and Blackberry style capability, it would be cool. Which it is! And yes its expensive, but so were top range iPods. Leopard will come. More importantly, personal electronics have jsut changed.

Still one of the most beautiful supercars I have ever seen. Considering it shares so much in common with the gt 40 styling (it is a homage to it after all) the look will always be classic. I can't really think of many cars I would rather have if I had my choice.
I believe those are custom rims. I would change those but it's not like I'm complaining.

Quite impressive database based multi-channel document handling and communication app. Useful replication of databases so that work can be done offline, and updated when next online.
Lots of gotchas tho, see the criticisms in the article. Notable that they only implemented a number-of-unread-emails count in the 2003 edition. :eek:

I think this is my favourite desktop ever (some of yours are okay though;))- tried showing it to people IRL but nobody's interested in neat desktops :( (not looking for any response btw- just have to get this out there- love the subject, the composition of the pic and the harmony) Yep, be a while before this pales: one of the best desktops of all time :D
