Bailouts from Arabian princes & Chinese govt. didnt do much squat to push the economy. A few immigrants buying houses (which again is gonna be tough to get loans approved in the 1st place) is gonna do much less good.
The US economy needs a deep cleanse. Which means all the bad news has to come out once & for all. No more Congress sanctioned hush ups for irregularities at Fannie Mae etc etc.
The US as a whole needs to rebuild the faith of the rest of the world, both politically & economically. It has now been clearly established that US is not a political & economical superpower that it once was.

Most likely this saga of retrogression will be decided in the next 2 to 3 months when Senate / House discuss the CIR. If by July end nothing happens, it will be a signal for us to leave. I know this will be a good news for some since the queue will get shorter, but who cares. This country "was" the best, but the next "best" country is likely to be from Asia. We all know it is either India or China...

I personally don't think any dramatic change will occur by december. You should probably follow your lawyer. This is a reasonable guess based on warnings issued in the November bulletin and assuming that even if any positive legislation is passed there will not be any movement in December bulletin - such movement would occur only later.

I cant tell you how much i was moved by the momentum that got generated during the 'black' weekend before christmas. One can tell the excitement and enthusiasm among the sufferers in this community. I wholly appreciate the efforts taken in setting up this site and following up on the issues. We need to generate the same kind of membership as we saw during that weekend.
One question i have and many others like me would be interested in knowing is a clear description on how the money collected will be spent. I understand by reading your posts that it will be totally transparent and will be detailed out every week. But its more important for people to know before hand on how and why money is needed, before they can open up their purses generously. Also please take this question in a positive attitude as more people would know the actual reasons.

Thanks you all for the responses and help. We are searching for employers who can help me out in the situation. Most of them are thinking twice bcoz I am pregnant and have to take maternity leave within a 2- 3 weeks.
Which will be the good option for me in this situation H1 transfer or EAD? I have EAD in hand, but never used. I like to maintain the status of H1-B as long as time permits. My husband is going to get health information next week once he joined in the job.

THAT IS NOT TRUE. here is the fact
1) Under HIPAA ACT , pregnancy CANNOT be considered as a pre existing condition by GROUP HEALTH coverage . This means you can also get health insurance by applying while u r pregnant.
2) you have 30 days to enroll the baby after birth

Although, in my opinion the important thing you may want to know is "what is the waiting period for your husbands group coverage at his new job, is it 30/60/90 days?

Either way you are SAFE and should be covered

If you had a approved 140, you'd get 3-year extensions. If it is pending, you could still get 1 year extension.
While I'm sure about this rule, you should check with the attorney.
I think its If pending...and labor approved 365 days before start date. I still need to check with my attorney. Also even if 140 is approved and dates are current i would not be able to extend.

Not entirely true, I switched job a couple of months ago - filed for AC21. I got an acknowledgment from USCIS for the same - stating that it will be added to my file, to be reviewed when my application is processed.

Shimul999 may not be trying to play or may be doing so, only Shimul999 knows. But there are legitimate observations such as below (Assuming s/he provided all information for his/her case correctly) can lead any person like VKKKK to believe that.
1) He is claiming labor filed in Feb 06 and he got approval in May 06 (As per
his signature). Now if his file is in BEC this would not have happened so it is
safe to assume that either he might have used substitution labor OR his file
is filed in PERM. Now Feb 06 was the initial stage of PERM and during that
period there were lot many software glitches in the PERM system so many
lawyers were almost hesitant to file under PERM. But assuming that his
lawyer took decision to file under PERM, end to end process was almost 4
months for PERM so either his file was reached before Feb 06 then only he
could have labor approval in May 06. So there is definately something
wrong there.
2) If my labor is approved in May 06 why would I wait to file I-140 till Feb 07
(His signature)?

For second point one can assume any reason for that long wait so it is not necessary that by looking to these both points we can fairly say that s/he is not representing the fact. (11/28/2007). The USCIS officer was not that friendly, but she promised to send an e-mail to main office. The very next day (11/29/2007)we had an update on website that EAD cards were ordered and we got it today. The date on the cards was 11/29/2007. It worked for us. It is really depends on the officer you speak with.
You are lucky , I did same thing on 11/8, no cards, no updates till now.

I have applied in EB2 category with job title of Sr. software engineer. and I have frnds who have applied for EB2 under, Programmer analyst, team lead.
But all of them had Master of science from USA.
And all of us have our I140 cleared and waiting to apply for I485 when its gets current.
