Most paste can take up to a week or two to take it's full effect.
second that. takes a bit for everything to line up and get useful.

temp is sitting at around 46-47 degrees C or 117 degrees F at idle. A bit better than before the MX-2 paste.
Lets see what 2Gb of ram does
sounding good so far. i would think those temps would come down a bit more after getting set. the fans at 12v (with quiet fans) is a good idea to move as much air a possible, as long as the noise is not a problem of course.
more ram will make everything better, but will also raise the ambient temps in the case as ram does get warm.
can't wait to see how it all ends. and pics. :)

I strongly suggest you copy off your work folder or files onto the desktop or wherever and work from them there, copying the new files back onto your Flash drive when you're done.

I mean like, I have the new brit Femme Fatale album, ripped it to FLAC.
I used MAX to convert it to ALAC and everything is fine, but when I checked the bit rates of each individual songs in iTunes they were different, is it supposed to be like this or is it some problem with MAX and how it encodes them?
Like one song would have 900 something and another song would have 1100 something, it's weird.

It depends upon who's being grilled. If it's a lowly grunt, I'm against it. Low man on the totem usually knows next to nothing and will give crappy info just to end the torture. If it's a known high ranking big wig, I say bring out the rack, the thumb screws and the iron maiden.;) Get that bad boy to sing like a canary.:cool:

Agreed, I'm still surprised by the amount supporters of this 'deal' in an earlier thread on this board. The only winners are Deutsche Telekom (as they get to dump a barely profitable enterprise) & ATT.
So you would rather Deutsche Telekom just shut them down? You can't force them to run an unprofitable business.
This decision would have been made regardless of the T-Mobile deal. T-Mobile and Sprint have never been considered by AT&T and Verizon when making these decisions. At least not any time in the last 5 years.

It's not really productive to complain here. Report the problem with your download to iTunes support. They'll be more likely to be able to straighten it out than anyone here.

So my friend gave me the Install Xcode.app and every time I double click it to install it nothing happens. I see my dock move a little bit, like its about to open up a new application down there, but then it goes away. It only moves like 5 pixels so I can't see what app is going on the dock. Is there anyway for me to install it? If he needs to sign in as a developer on his account thats fine, but how would we do that?
