My impression is that Apple does not want to tell you what to watch on your iPhone. ... They don't want it to be known for pornography. ... Another important thing to consider is that in today's world it doesn't take much for a media frenzy to develop if your product is linked to some kind of sensational crime or scandal.....

Has anyone any objections with the beta category idea? I'd quite like to see what they are like...
It would significantly increase the amount of work. There are currently 671 articles in at least one category. Every single one of these would have to be edited to be put in a beta category, and then again to be put in their final category.
If we don't take this approach, only some of these 671 articles will need to be edited, as not all categories will be renamed. This would require only a few hundred edits instead of over 1300. I don't know about you, but I have better things to do than making 1000 extra edits to trial a new structure. ;)

Because Office 2010 uses MAPI. Its WebDAV that has gone away.
It has NOTHING to do with protocol. If Windows Office uses MAPI, put MAPI in Mac Office. It's not rocket science. Point being - it CAN be done somehow. They choose not to do it because they are sabotaging Mac Office so it's always going to be inferior to the Windows version. Based completely on wear-and-tear on highways I still say that a gas tax is unfair. And this is why the the US is struggling for tax dollars to fund highway repair and upgrade projects these days.
What I think is unfair is adding cost to my efficient and light-on-its-feet vehicle to incorporate mileage-tracking capability, making me track my own mileage, or both. And I wouldn't be real enthused about creating additional government authority and/or departments to track this crap.
A tax that is weighted unfairly against some segment of the population is hardly new. Gasoline is already taxed, already metered, and using less of it is a good thing, even if its use does not proportionally relate to wear-and-tear on roads. If I don't like the price of gas, I'll drive less, or buy a smaller car - both of which, as others have said, will reduce the damage to the roads I travel on.

I haven't looked at this for ages, extremeoverclocking probably changed their xml design. I'll see what I can do, but I can't promisse you a fast solution. My daughter and studies take up most of my time right now.
I'll post a working version in this thread, when I come to it. If you'd like to take over development however, feel free to do so.

EDIT: actually, I just checked, and Flickr will only let me upload 300MB a month, and will only let me see the most recent 200 pictures on a free account. That's basically worthless too. Maybe I'll just buy another external hard drive instead.
Flickr Pro is $25 a year, and has no limits. You could get 3-4 years of Flickr Pro for the price of your average nice external drive. I would rather have Flickr Pro, but that is just me.

The DSi was a nice looking handheld, as well as feeling good as far as ergonomics go. The 3DS is a glossy nightmare and should be used as a showcase of what not to do when it comes to industrial design.

This is not surprising. All the Chinese resellers who were buying iPads in NYC are unlikely to buy the Verizon CDMA, because it cannot be used abroad. The GSM version (i.e. the ATT version) is one that can be used in most places abroad, as long as the iPad is unlocked.
Wrong, China has CDMA. Same CDMA we have. (they also have another proprietary form of CDMA as well)
However, the scalpers I've seen don't seem to be sending them to China.

My wife's an RN and has both been in a number of anesthetized surgeries and has had some herself.
Most patients do just fine - as described above. Redheads are a bit more sensitive to anesthesia (not sure why, but apparently it's true), but that isn't an issue unless your anesthesiologist is color-blind. ;)
Some people - including my wife - are prone to a bit of nausea afterwards, but it's usually short-lived and it isn't an issue with most people. One thing that helps is to pay strict attention to the fasting/drinking instructions they'll give you beforehand. That cookie might seem like nothing when you're hungry before you go in, but you'll regret it upon waking up.
Also, depending on the anesthesia and your particular reaction to it, you'll almost undoubtedly have some period - a few seconds to an hour or so - of time where you are lucid but don't have functional short-term memory... meaning you might say naughty things to your neurosurgeon but then will have no idea why he's looking at you like that later on.... ;)

robbieduncan is right-on with his explanation, you're making incorrect claims: focal lengths are independent of the size of the sensor, a 50 mm lens will be a 50 mm lens on a medium format body, a full frame analog body or an APS-C-sized dslr. What changes is the field of view, which is an angle. It is this angle which is different on the above-mentioned cameras. The reason why people write something to the effect `a 50 mm lens on a crop body is equivalent to 75~80 mm lens on a full frame body' is that we've gotten used to associating focal lengths on 35 mm bodies to FOVs. Sort of like Americans got used to measuring distances in miles rather than kilometers.

Well.. I ordered the 320m Air yesterday, after reading up on the latest rumors. Maybe I will regret this but since I plan to do some basic 3D (Maya) modelling and opengl graphics development on the go, I figured the sandy bridge upgrade will actually be more of a downgrade.

How can you discuss tax rates and NOT acknowledge that the rates we have today are the rates that include the Bush tax cuts? How can you discuss deficits and spending when there were surplusses when Clinton left office and he had higher tax rates and spending than Bush? If you ignore history, you are doomed to repeat it. It isn't a matter of spite, it's merely a matter of looking at what works and what doesn't, and cutting taxes does not, in and of itself work. Reasonable spending that targets necessary services, along with reasonably higher tax rates, has worked in the past. The current political climate has us arguing about cutting spending and cutting services and cutting taxes. It's bizarroland. We are undoing decades of progress so that we can push an economic model that has never worked in the past.
It's not Republican vs. Democrat, it's what hasn't worked vs. what has worked. The only reason to continually repeat who is responsible or who is pushing a proposal is to make certain that people don't fall for the economic conservative language being used by the people who are anything but being conservative.
That's all neat; it's got a beat and you can dance to it. But you were, by your choice, responding to itcheroni, and his/her quoted points had nothing to do with your ongoing diatribe against all things even tacitly related to Republicans.

I've got the full 3GB that it'll recognize. I'm mostly concerned about the old video card.
The person who asked you how much ram you meant was referring to your video card ram not your system ram. I think that that GPU only has 128MBs of VRAM but am not 100% sure off the top of my head. but it is an older GPU you will probably have no problems running it on low but don't expect to run it on anything higher if your lucky you might be able to run at med settings depending on what res you run at. VRam is not as important as most people think it is. The processing power of the GPU itself is much more important.
