Updates are coming in fast.
It turns out my wife is not yet elegible to get an ID card. She can get her license when I get my real copy of birth certificate and that will happen in about a week when it should come in by mail.
The problem is that she can get some sort of temporary paperwork but the official drivers license will take up to another 6 weeks to get.
Is there still no problem with traveling? I would guess not but again, as the story changes, helpful insight is very much welcome. Thanks!

Also, at this point there are some questions lingering around your 'consulting' agency. I'm pretty sure a 4 yr. degree from an accredited college/university is considered equivalent to BS here. I really have suspicions on the real cause that's being presented to you.
You may want to check if your agency is employing others and if so, get in touch with one of them and gather facts.
I am no expert on saving your status, hence I am not commenting.

Part of the problem is the employers do not have a long term plan for their companies. They are always on look out for a fast buck. If employee satisfaction and client satisfaction are more, the company has better chance of growing. Typically when the client is satisfied, the company gets more projects and this way the set-up costs like relocation, travel expenses come down. Companies can not break the law just because they are not able to make a profit.

Does that mean we are no more after the goal of I-485 provision (attached to appropriation bills in Feb) due to lack of contributions? There has been several posts even in other forums saying that IV has dropped this goal, and I tried quite a few times now to get some form of confirmation/denial from any of the core members, but without any luck yet. Also logiclife's announcement was removed from the home page!!
It does mean that me need more funds. IV has not announced it has dropped the I485 idea. Now a lot depends on us, the members.

I can't help but notice that progress at TSC.
They were processing July 16, 2007 2 - 3 months back.
One fine day, they updated dates saying that they processed till June 16, 2007. (-ve by a month)
Last month, they made progress till June 23, 2007.
Since last month, they made a progress of one day - June 24, 2007.
Is this correct? or I am a brain dead person? unable to understand CIS processing dates, particulary going backwards really baffles me.:(
