Check with your lawyer. Extension beyond 6 yrs is not available if you are eligible to apply for I485. If you are not able to apply for 485 because of retrogression, you can extend your H1 beyond 6 yrs (of course, it doesnt apply to you).

This is not correct. you can apply for 1 year extensions if you have applied for 485 and is pending.

I used AC21 3 months ago and filled the paperwork with USCIS. No RFE yet but I would not care if I get an RFE as well...

I think it is best to notify USCIS. I hired Murthy and I don't think they are doing this just to get money. If your case gets messed u say 3-4 yeare later and you end up taking UCSIS in court then this paperwork (which USCIS will most probably do nothing with) will be very helpful.

I think many doctors earned a lot of money during that period. The same thing happened with us with the INS Doctor. Though we had our TB skin tests done 3 months before, the doctor said "No that will not work, the requirement for INS is different" After that he said we need x-rays too, though our earlier reports were normal. But what to do, at that time all were in a hurry.

PERPETUAL EAD AND AP - STOP STEALING OUR MONEY AND CREATING MORE WORK FOR YOURSELF

they are not stealing your money. The current situation can be explained on the basis of existing laws. Need to be careful about our messaging.

The very fact that all fixes we are asking for are legislative changes implies that the current situation has less to do with USCIS and more with old arcane laws. There are a lot of things USCIS can be accused of, but not 'stealing money'

If a person tests positive for TB and the chest X-Ray also shows signs of TB the USCIS doctor will send us to the county doctor's office. If they also determine positive result we wil have to start the medication.

1) So with the dates becoming current on July 01 2007 can a person apply for I-485 or wait till the medication is completed?

2) Also how long does the medication take?

RN starting from WAC. But I filled EAD in NSC. Also have RN for EAD. It does not matter. You have to file EAD based on state you live. Because of July fiasco they had sent 485 cases everywhere so those RNs are from all over.
But for EAD it does not matter where 485 was filed only thing that matters in where you live.

I got 7 years of experience, i have submitted those experience letters while filing, what they are asking is that the job description is missing from experience letters.

the companies which i have worked for they no longer exists.

ofcourse that is what they want,the job description. What you have done during those 7 years. You need to put that in experience letter.

1. The last update on processing time was published on November 18, 2008. No update was made to the processing time since November 18, 2008.

2. There appears to be discrepancy between the dates the processing time is posted and the service center processing dates. Attached is the processing time report from November 18, 2008 for California Service Center, Nebraska Service Center, Texas Service Center, and Vermont Service center. Please notice the date processing time was posted was November 18, 2008 and the service center processing dates was given as of September 30, 2008.

I will appreciate if a corrective action is taken so that the processing times are published on time and the discrepancy between the date posted and service center processing date is addressed.

I am willing to take the lead and the initiative for sending faxes to congressman for the CIR.

I am going to take an off tomorrow for this and dedicate my whole time for this.
I need some volunteers who can help me in putting up the letter together for this and other activities.

There are different action items required to do this
1. Draft the letter which communicates in a clear and precise way our agenda.
2. Get as many number of immigrants to send the fax.
3. Step by Step guide or a page on website where an end user can enter the information and send the fax.

No Donation or travel is required for the rally, just a few minutes of your 24 hours is required to do this.

Only who want to volunteer for any of the 3 action items please reply to this and no one else.. this is my humble request... I am a very focussed guy and do not want any distraction in this activity. As part of the 3rd action item another thread will be posted with the instructions on how to do that in the quickest and the best way.

I am putting up a poll and at the end of the day I'll send the conf call number as well for the volunteers.
And thanks in advance to all the volunteers. and also if you don't volunteer doesn't make you any less than a volunteer, if you support and help building this community stronger and much closely knitted.
